Résidence 1+2 is a photographic programme anchored in Toulouse and European in ambition, during which three photographers confront their ways of looking: each year one established and two younger authors, three cities — Toulouse, Barcelona, Brussels — and three forms of output. For this second edition Israel Ariño from Spain, Leslie Moquin from France and Christian Sanna from Italy and Madagascar were chosen. Born of different generations and horizons, their work questions the themes of water, wind and air in a subjective and assumed vision; brought together for the first time, the three ways of seeing resonated for two months and gave rise to protean and transversal bodies of work, shown at the Musée Paul-Dupuy.
