Éditions GwinZegal
Éditions GwinZegal is the publishing house of an art centre: the Centre d'art GwinZegal in Guingamp, in a largely rural part of Brittany, which focuses on photography in all its forms and puts artistic creation, encounters with audiences and education at the heart of its activity. The books come out of the centre's exhibitions and residencies, a few a year, and publish contemporary work as well as forgotten parts of photographic history, with a taste for poetic, political and photographic views of the modern world. Its books have won prizes at the Rencontres d'Arles and at Paris Photo. It is a publisher shaped by an art centre, rather than the other way round.
