Innocences

Paris, France

Innocences publishes single-run, numbered art books, mainly photography, graphic design, facsimiles and reissues, and its site calls it a young publishing house focused on rare books. Its address is in the twelfth arrondissement of Paris, and the books are sold mainly online and at art book fairs, with a few specialised bookshops in cities such as Paris, London, New York, Lisbon and Copenhagen. Its WTF series collects amateur photographs found on the web in numbered editions, and a book, Tout doit disparaître, was co-published with Le Centquatre-Paris in a run of 1,000 copies.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
