L’Artiere
L'Artiere is a young and independent Bologna publisher of photography books, founded in 2013 by Gianluca and Gianmarco Gamberini, and it is the book side of a printing business: Grafiche dell'Artiere, the parent company, provides the technical know-how. That explains its first conviction, that quality is everything, from the photographers it chooses to the materials and the packaging, and that the printed book is an object that keeps and gains value over time. Each volume is followed from the selection of the content and the contact with the photographer to the choice of the printing technique that suits the kind of pictures. The focus is contemporary international photography, with no restriction of style, subject or technique, in artisanal books meant to be collected.
