RVM Hub

L'Aquila, Italy · since 2016

RVM Hub is an Italian independent photography publisher, founded in July 2016, which describes itself as a micro independent publishing house and editorial studio based between L'Aquila and Rome. It works in photo publishing, workshop organisation, exhibition curation and production, and awards and grants, and its publications are typically designed for each project and have been linked to slow journalism and slow publishing. RVM Magazine became independent with the founding of the publishing house, with its Redo Issue followed by the White and Black issues, and the first book published by the house has since been reprinted. Agnese Porto is its owner and publisher.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
