One of the foremost contemporary Swiss photographers and an equally celebrated Swiss architect are brought together in this unique collaboration of distinguished artistic visions: pictures of buildings that comment equally on the art of the lens and the art of building. More than twenty years ago, in a milestone event of twentieth-century architectural imagery, the photographer captured, at the architect's invitation, a protective structure for archaeological excavations and a chapel. When first shown, those pictures ignited a lively debate that has been revived with a recent exhibition of images of the architect's most famous work, a celebrated spa.
