A series of sixteen photographs of New York City street debris and puddles interspersed with images from a cross-country road trip, all shot over roughly eighteen months with an 8x10 view camera recording extremely high detail. Conceived out of curiosity about street photography and a conversation about a classic reference on swimming pools and broken glass, this is the photographer's third monograph and second collaboration with the publisher, produced in an edition that also included a limited run with an alternate version and a signed, numbered contact proof.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
