The fog is lifting but the rain is still in the air. There is a puddle of water on the asphalt between garage doors, traces of snow. The water is like a mirror, reflecting the sky and the buildings around it. Sounds of distant sirens blend with a cooing pigeon. The artist is holding the hand of his son as he takes him to school. The work is built out of such passing moments observed close to home during the months of confinement.
