For this collaboration the sculptor and painter Erik Lindman built a body of sculptural work - wood, plastic, metal, paint and epoxy resin - expressly so that Hassla's founder, the photographer David Schoerner, could record it in his signature grid-based style, photographing each piece from multiple angles in keeping with Lindman's wish that the sculptures be seen from every side. The resulting book sits at the crossing of two practices, sculpture conceived for the camera and photography built to serve sculpture.
