Hadi Fallahpisheh, who earned his MFA at Bard College, makes photographs without a camera: working in the darkroom with a flashlight, he exposes objects directly onto photosensitive paper, building images - often populated by his recurring motif of cats and dogs - through pure light and chemistry rather than a lens. This slim, self-covered Hassla edition gathers that camera-less photogram practice into book form.
