A zine from Dashwood's series on emerging artists, drawn from the ongoing project Naked Selfie On Airplane, in which the Taiwanese visual artist John Yuyi, who lives and works between Taipei and New York, has pursued since 2018 the habit of taking a naked selfie every time she boards a plane. Her work explores aspects of social media, photography and the post-internet condition. The colour pictures, shot with a phone in the mirrors of aircraft cabins and lavatories, show her wearing nothing but improvised garments of paper: toilet-seat covers, tissue and rolls of toilet paper wrapped round her body and face.
