Satoshi Ogawa photographed Bangladesh between 2015 and 2019 in street snaps, impromptu portraits and still lifes. His focus is on intersections: people gathering, interacting and influencing each other across social and economic classes, so that the country appears as a place built around the crossing paths between people. Personal, even private moments are mixed in, and visual chaos is set against quieter images. In the afterword Ogawa writes of wandering the city with a camera among the sound of car horns, rickshaw bells and voices, until a cold wind blows through and a squall turns the road into a river and covers the city in darkness.
