The latest volume of Michio Yamauchi's lifelong Tokyo snapshots, shot in December 2009 and the summer of 2010, centred on Shinjuku. In the afterword Yamauchi explains that the localities seen are those of the area where he lives: some places he set out to photograph, but for the most part these are pictures of his own neighbourhood of Kugayama, in Suginami Ward, and of Shinjuku, where he might meet friends or walk around visiting photography exhibitions. The latter half in particular concentrates on the Kugayama area.
