An homage to Einstein, the photographer's superstar since childhood, and to the Special Theory of Relativity. Since it is inconceivable to photograph while travelling at the speed of light within one lifetime, Yukinori Tokoro photographs from a Shinkansen at 300 kilometres an hour as a small consolation, hoping that others might share this humble experiment; at the same time the work is a challenge to the questionable principle of time that, the artist believes, is a fabrication made only for human convenience. The afterword by Marcia Iwatate is titled The Wizard of Time. All text is in Japanese and English.
