Viva el Perú brings together over 100 vibrant portraits by Mario Testino of people from Peru’s Andean region wearing traditional and festive dress—at once celebrating these extraordinary garments and preserving the heritage they embody. Though Testino grew up in Lima, by the age of 14 he began travelling to the mountains near Cusco, where he developed a lasting fascination for the bold, brilliant colors of the Andes.
