OFFLINE 2.0 is a companion publication to OFFLINE [Friend Editions, 2024] an evolving long-term project by Casper Kent. Published on the occasion of the LA Art Book Fair and Photo London 2025. The original OFFLINE is a decade-long Polaroid project made largely in windowless love hotels and secluded ryokans, launched with an exhibition at Contrast Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo. Colour photographs of women in interiors and city streets.

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
