Cette façon qu'elle avait d'habiter tout son corps - That way she inhabited her whole body - is the story of a girl who seems to live a bit more than the others. As if time needed to be confronted, she takes her victory on it by living everyday with an insolent intensity. Impulsively, she seems to stage herself without acknowledging it, giving a moving and fascinating show, successively leading and frightening her partners. The series makes a collection of images from three visions of the same girl, gathering and confronting them, bringing different lights on the different facets of the character. Zine by the 3 French photographers, sharing by 3 different points of views the life of a common friend.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
