Les Eternels is a collection of diverse visual and textual content, compiled and created by Brussels-based artist Vincen Beeckman. Over the past few years, he has collaborated on various social projects in his city, and for this particular project, he has worked with some of the city’s most extraordinary elderly residents. The book becomes a collection of emotions, moments, actions, and stories that show how completely distorted the perception of this group of people is, and that we can remain incredible if we stay young at heart.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
