Besides telling the art and the artists of the second half of the last century through the record of fifty years of exhibitions, studios and large public events in Italy, Enrico Cattaneo (1933-2019) developed a very personal visual search into the ways, the subjects and the materials of the medium.

Those two sides of his activity, inseparable as the two faces of a coin, come together in the unitary physiognomy of a maker able to question the technical and conceptual assumptions of the language he used.
