Fiorese and Carter are both poets of authorial photography, and this volume is a splendid gallery of pictures and portraits. One from Texas, the other born in Verona and Milanese by adoption, Keith Carter and Mauro Fiorese have different cultural roots but found each other through the photographic medium. From the encounter of their two worlds, and from a shared sensibility for the mystery of ordinary things, comes a dialogue in images between two ways of seeing.
