Part memoir, part tableau, the work is a multi-layered narrative collage tracing life and death on the rural farm where the Swiss artist grew up. Made over twelve years and bridging three generations, it weaves together photographs, video stills and drawings with texts by the artist and by the screenwriter and playwright Antoine Jaccoud, who reconstructs transcripts of conversations between family members and memories recounted by the artist in order to build the story.
