After the sold-out Tonatiuh, the Guatemalan photographer Juan Brenner returns with this publication made with the micro-publisher Pomegranate Press. Self-taught, Brenner lived ten years in New York before returning to Guatemala City; his previous volume explored, among other things, the conquest and its long aftermath, and this one follows the ravine, the virgin and the spring as three places where belief and landscape meet.
