Françoise is a tribute to Françoise Nuñez, photographer and companion of Bernard Plossu. Through seventy-five photographs, the book retraces a life devoted to images, travel and encounters, as the couple shared a nomadic existence across Mexico, India, Turkey, Greece and Andalusia, capturing light and the instant with a unique sensibility. More than a portrait of one woman, the book evokes an era, a way of living and photographing in which the image becomes memory, celebrating a gaze and a presence rooted in an aesthetic of simplicity and emotion.
