In his first publication, an artist's book of photographs and personal writings, Can Yasar Köklü explores his experiences growing up, the traditions that inform his art, and his feelings in three different cultures. Heimat charts the country where he spent most of his life, Memleket is dedicated to the place where his roots are, and Home gathers impressions from a year of high school in Los Angeles and from New York, where he continues his education. Driven by a passion for storytelling, he captures singular moments in time.
