An extensive survey of the work of one of the most influential authors of the twentieth century, one of the great figures of modernity, László Moholy-Nagy, who conceived the arts as a whole and wanted to remove every hierarchy and separation between them. Moholy-Nagy wanted to be a 'total artist', theoretical and practical at once, creating in different media and trying to overcome the separation between art and life. He carried out a radical experimental practice without renouncing any artistic practice, moving between painting, photography and film. He also gave great importance to education, believing that man is the only builder of his own existence, convinced of the importance of art and its ideological and formative function. In his many texts the author sets out his aesthetic conception, both artistic and pedagogical, as emerges in his Aesthetic Theory of Light, structured around the regulating principle of light and grounded in its biological basis.
