Texts by Marco Delogu, Mohamed Keita

Born in Ivory Coast in 1993, Mohamed Keita left his country at fourteen during the civil war and crossed Guinea, Mali, Algeria, the Sahara, Libya and Malta alone, reaching Italy in 2010 at seventeen. Through Rome's Civico Zero day centre for unaccompanied minors he discovered and developed his vocation as a photographer. Roma 10/20 gathers the images he made during his first ten years in the city.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
