The work unfolds as a visual diary in which the artist reworks memories of her childhood in Ukraine in order to question the present. Through an intimate gaze and a delicate use of light she reflects on identity, memory and trauma, addressing the legacy of the Soviet past in the construction of the self, and the pictures weave together the personal and the collective: everyday gestures, family scenes, objects.
