The project began with a letter the artist wrote to her five-years-older self, which became the starting point for confronting body dysmorphia during a solo trip to the Mediterranean in 2019. Through self-portraits and performative gestures she reflects on self-acceptance and on the therapeutic potential of art as a means to work through trauma and reclaim agency.
