An artist's notebook that accompanies the Matador magazine, collecting evocative photographs by Alberto García-Alix taken in the Museo del Prado. Using analogue photography and double exposures of fragments of the same work of art on a single negative, García-Alix creates a unique 'fantasy' within the painting itself. Through different framings and superimpositions the photographer reinterprets the artwork, keeping the essence and character of the Prado's pieces: works by Goya, El Greco, Van der Weyden, Velázquez, seen through the filter of the camera of one of the great names of Spanish photography.
