The latest series of the Franco-Swiss photographer explores information and the ways it is staged by the “media machine”. To bear witness to this topical subject he went to the Assemblée Nationale and the Palais de Justice in Paris, to be at the reactor core: politicians immersed in a forest of microphones, cameras and boom poles that highlight the media hubbub and our desensitisation to the flood of news.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
