17 February 1958: Mister K leaves home and returns eight months later, having driven across the United States at a frantic pace, immersed in his memories, towards what seems the end of the world. The visual artist collects vernacular photographs, a living material she seizes and reappropriates to construct imaginary narratives, and here she plays on the atmospheres of road movies and of American photography of the period.
