Inspired by the title of a poem by the Finnish writer Aaro Hellaakoski, Me Kaksi (“us two”) celebrates the fortuitous encounter, the strange closeness and the presence in the world of two beings. Spanning more than forty years of wanderings across the world, the photographs combine iconic and lesser-known images of dogs, people and animals in snow, fields and villages, with quiet humour.
