When lockdown began to spread through our consciousness and our lives, the artist was struck by how familiar that state of separation from friends, family and life as she knew it felt, as if she had experienced it before. She used the time it offered to sort through pictures taken a few years earlier with an analogue camera, and looking back she noticed that they represented both what she had lost and what she had found.
