All Beauty Must Die explores an idyllic ambience, mixing references from nineteenth-century English literary romanticism and pop rock music. The title refers to the lyrics of Nick Cave's Where the Wild Roses Grow, but also to John Keats' Ode on Melancholy: "She dwells with Beauty — Beauty that must die". It gathers pictures made at summer music festivals together with comments left by visitors to the exhibition of the same name. Alluding to the world of fanzines, it establishes a dialogue between highly contrasted black and white frames and anonymous love messages, political slogans, loose thoughts, quotations and testimonies.
